I served as chief UI designer for the facebook app and art directed these photos and they were taken by Paul Bryan to promote Challenge app and for use as splash pages. Each photo illustrates with some hyperbole a possible challenge from Challenge App. The accompanying word bubbles are meant to mimic activity stream comments, where in the users (character with over-sized heads portray certain actions that you might find in the app. As art director, I directed models and photographer during the shoot, assisted in the editing of the photos and created the layout for each splash screen.
